Amtrak Virginia invites you to come celebrate the grand opening of the Newport News Transportation Center located at 500-B Bland Blvd. Amtrak will provide two daily roundtrips between Newport News and Richmond, Alexandria, Washington, DC, and cities in the Northeast. It will also serve as an intermodal transportation hub in Newport News, including transfer points for Amtrak bus services extending to Norfolk and Virginia Beach. The station feature plenty of parking, a large customer waiting area and a staffed ticket counter for your assistance.

The station is planned to consolidate all of the region's public transport entities into one location and serve as the new southern terminus of the Virginia Peninsula branch of the Northeast Regional.
