Track Work Affects Crescent Service

Effective Monday - Thursday, January 7 - February 27, 2025

Attention Amtrak Passengers:
Track work being performed by Norfolk Southern will affect Crescent service Monday through Thursday, January 7 - February 27, excluding February 17, as described below. Schedule times listed on Amtrak.com have been updated to reflect these changes.

• Train 19, which normally operates between New York and New Orleans, will terminate at Atlanta with alternate transportation provided by Buses 3119 and 3019.
  • Bus 3119 will provide alternate transportation between Atlanta and New Orleans making all scheduled station stops.
  • Bus 3019 will provide alternate transportation from Atlanta to New Orleans, making no intermediate stops.
• Train 20, which normally operates between New Orleans and New York, will originate in Atlanta with alternate transportation provided by Buses 3120 and 3020.
  • Bus 3120 will provide alternate transportation between New Orleans and Atlanta making all scheduled station stops.
  • Bus 3020 will provide alternate transportation from New Orleans to Atlanta, making no intermediate stops.
