Service Restored on the Northeast Corridor

November 13, 2024 03:20 PM

Delays between Philadelphia Gray 30th St (PHL) and Wilmington (WIL)

The tracks are partially restored between Philadelphia (PHL) and Wilmington (WIL). Due to single-track conditions, northbound and southbound customers should still expect delays of at least 30min. Crews are continuing to work to restore service in the area fully. We appreciate your patience as we work to return to normal operations.

Track closure between New York Penn Station and New Haven Union Station (NHV)

Amtrak personnel have fully restored the tracks between New York Penn Station (NYP) and New Haven Union Station (NHV). Train travel will now resume in the impacted area. We apologize for any inconvience this may have caused.

Customers with reservations on affected trains will typically be accommodated on trains with similar departure times or another day. Amtrak will waive additional charges for customers looking to change their reservation during the modified schedule by calling our reservation center at 1-800-USA-RAIL.
