Winter Storm to impact Washington, Oregon, and Northern California

For the safety of Amtrak customers and employees, due to forecasted winter weather, select trains will operate a modified schedule as follows:

 

Tuesday, Nov 19th 

Coast Starlight

  • Train 11 is canceled between Seattle (SEA) and Oakland (OKJ). Despite our efforts, alternate transportation will not be available.
  • Train 14 is canceled between Oakland (OKJ) and Seattle (SEA). Despite our efforts, alternate transportation will not be available. 

Empire Builder 

  • Train 7 is canceled between Spokane (SPK) and Seattle (SEA). Despite our efforts, alternate transportation will not be available. 
  • Train 27 is canceled between Spokane (SPK) and Portland (PDX). Despite our efforts, alternate transportation will not be available. 
  • Train 8 is canceled between Seattle (SEA) and Spokane (SPK). Despite our efforts, alternate transportation will not be available. 
  • Train 28 is canceled between Portland (PDX) and Spokane (SPK). Despite our efforts, alternate transportation will not be available.

 

Wednesday, Nov 20th

Coast Starlight

  • Train 11 is canceled between Seattle (SEA) and Oakland (OKJ). Despite our efforts, alternate transportation will not be available.
  • Train 14 is canceled between Oakland (OKJ) and Seattle (SEA). Despite our efforts, alternate transportation will not be available. 

Empire Builder

  • Train 8 is canceled between Seattle (SEA) and Spokane (SPK). Despite our efforts, alternate transportation will not be available. 
  • Train 28 is canceled between Portland (PDX) and Spokane (SPK). Despite our efforts, alternate transportation will not be available.

 

Thursday, Nov 21th

Empire Builder

  • Train 8 is canceled between Seattle (SEA) and Spokane (SPK). Despite our efforts, alternate transportation will not be available. 
  • Train 28 is canceled between Portland (PDX) and Spokane (SPK). Despite our efforts, alternate transportation will not be available.

Customers with reservations on trains that are being modified will typically be accommodated on trains with similar departure times or another day. Amtrak will waive additional charges for customers looking to change their reservation during the modified schedule by calling our reservation center at 1-800-USA-RAIL.
