Texas Eagle Service Schedule Changes
Effective March 20 - June 11, 2025Due to infrastructure work being performed by Union Pacific Railroad, Amtrak’s Texas Eagle Service will be adjusted beginning March 20. Schedule times listed on Amtrak.com have been updated to reflect these changes.
Northbound
April 15 - 22; April 29 - May 6, May 13 - 20; May 28 - June 3, June 10 - 11
- Train 22, which normally operates between San Antonio and Chicago, will operate as Bus 3022 between Fort Worth and Marshall making intermediate stops at Dallas, Mineola and Longview, and as Train 1022 from Marshall to Chicago operating 2 hours later between Marshall and St. Louis, and 2 hours and 15 minutes later between St. Louis and Chicago.
April 13, 16, 18, 20, 27, 30; May 2, 4, 11, 14, 16, 18, 28, 30; June 1 and 8
- Train 422, which normally operates between Los Angeles and Chicago, will terminate at Fort Worth with no alternate transportation provided.
Southbound
April 14 - 21; April 28 - May 5, May 12 - 19; May 27 - June 2, June 9 - 10
- Train 21, which normally operates between Chicago and San Antonio, will operate as Bus 3021 between Marshall and Fort Worth, making intermediate stops at Longview, Mineola and Dallas.
- Train 1021 will operate from Fort Worth to San Antonio on April 15 - 22; April 29 - May 6; May 13 - 20; May 28 - June 3 and 10 - 11 running 80 minutes later than normal, departing Fort Worth at 3:22pm.
April 15, 18, 20, 29; May 2, 4, 13, 16, 18, 27, 30; June 1 and 10
- Train 421, which normally operates between Chicago and Los Angeles, will originate at Fort Worth, departing 80 minutes later at 3:22pm, with no alternate transportation provided.
