Delays along the Northeast Corridor
December 22, 2024 12:20 PM
Amtrak personnel have restored one track to regular service between New York Penn Station (NYP) and Philadelphia 30th St William Gray Station (PHL), allowing minimal train movement. Single-tracking conditions are now in place. This incident has impacted trains operating from Washington Union Station (WAS) to Boston South Station (BOS). Customers traveling along the Northeast Corridor should expect lengthy delays. We will update you when the service is fully restored. We appreciate your patience.
Customers with reservations on affected trains will typically be accommodated on trains with similar departure times or another day. Amtrak will waive additional charges for customers looking to change their reservation during the modified schedule by calling our reservation center at 1-800-USA-RAIL.
