Service disrupted between New York and New Haven

Service between New York (NYP) and New Haven (NHV) is temporarily canceled due to an unscheduled track repair. The track repair is estimated to be complete at approximately 2:00 pm. Customers ticketed to travel between New York and New Haven will have their tickets honnered by Metro-North from Grand Central Station to New Haven. Amtrak is communicating directly with impacted customers about this service interruption and offering options for rebooking their travel plans. Amtrak apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the disruption. Crews are working hard to correct the issues.

Customers with reservations on affected trains will typically be accommodated on trains with similar departure times or another day. Amtrak will waive additional charges for customers looking to change their reservation during the modified schedule by calling our reservation center at 1-800-USA-RAIL.
