Modified service due to Hurricane Helene

For the safety of Amtrak customers and employees, due to impending Hurricane Storm Helene, select trains will operate a modified schedule as follows:

 

Friday, Sep. 27

Auto Train 

  • Train 52 is canceled.
  • Train 53 is canceled.

Crescent Service

  • Train 20 is canceled.

Palmetto Service

  • Train 89 is canceled between Washington (WAS) and Savannah (SAV).
  • Train 90 is canceled between Savannah (SAV) and Washington (WAS).

Piedmont Service

  • Train 71 is canceled.
  • Train 72 is canceled.
  • Train 73 is canceled.
  • Train 74 is canceled.
  • Train 75 is canceled.
  • Train 76 is canceled.
  • Train 77 is canceled.
  • Train 78 is canceled.

Silver Service

  • Train 92 is canceled in its entirety. 
  • Train 91 is canceled between New York (NYP) and Jacksonville (JAX).
  • Train 98 is canceled between Jacksonville (JAX) and New York (NYP).
  • Train 97 is canceled between New York (NYP) and Jacksonville (JAX). 

Saturday, Sep. 28

Silver Service

  • Train 91 is canceled.
  • Train 92 is canceled. 

Customers with reservations on trains that are being modified will typically be accommodated on trains with similar departure times or another day. Amtrak will waive additional charges for customers looking to change their reservation during the modified schedule by calling our reservation center at 1-800-USA-RAIL.
